iPhone users, do you hate texting Androids? It may soon get easier (NEXSTAR) — You've likely experienced it before: with your iPhone, you try to text someone with an Android and find yourself face-to-face with those less-than-pleasing green text bubbles appearing on your phone. Emojis look different, group texts aren't as smooth, and seamless reactions to messages become "John Smith liked this image."That could soon change — sort of.An upcoming software update will bring Rich Communication Services (RCS) to iPhones, Apple has confirmed to USA Today and 9to5Mac.If you're an iPhone user, you're likely already familiar with how your phone sends texts. Texas Tech band to perform in Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade TEXAS (KXAN) -- From Raiderland to the streets of Manhattan, it's a Texas Tech takeover at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.The Texas Tech University Goin' Band is slated to perform at the 97th Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade Thursday. They are the only marching band from the Lone Star State scheduled to perform as part of the annual festivities, per the parade lineup. Suspected DUI driver slams into police officers on L.A. freeway; 2 hurt A driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI after crashing into a Los Angeles Police Department patrol car and injuring two officers who were searching for evidence on the northbound 57 Freeway in Fullerton early Tuesday morning.The officers had been involved in a pursuit that had recently ended in Lynwood and returned to the freeway to look for a weapon that was thrown from the suspect's vehicle when they were rear-ended by a gray Infiniti sedan around 2 a.m. Two officers were injured in a crash in Fullerton on Nov. 21, 2023. (KTLA)The officers were taken to UCI Medical Center where they were visited by LAPD Chief Michel Moore. Moore said the two male officers suffered bumps and bruises, and the passenger had a laceration on his head. Both were expected to make a full recovery, Moore said.
